EUROLACKE shapes sustainability

EUROLACKE represents Axalta Coating Systems' ALESTA® powder coatings in the Netherlands. Axalta's products and services make a special contribution to sustainability. In the Sustainability report, Axalta makes available data on its customers, products and services. The report examines operational, financial and environmental performance, health and safety programs, R&D innovativeness and community engagement. The report is here available.

Sustainability in business operations
In addition to carrying environmentally friendly powder coatings, sustainability is an important pillar in the company's operations. EUROLACKE is constantly looking for sustainable solutions, investments and initiatives.

• EUROLACKE has a highly energy-efficient building with an Energy Performance Characteristic (EPK) and thus complies with the Environmental Management Act.
• EUROLACKE has incorporated various Cradle to Cradle products into the building. Cradle to Cradle is a concept in which materials and fabrics are reused at the end of their cycle without loss of quality.
• EUROLACKE generates its own energy through a large number of solar panels.
• Powder coatings are transported by Euro 6 trucks whenever possible. Euro 6 is the European environmental standard and intended to reduce emissions of certain polluting exhaust gases and road vehicles.
• Also at the product level is EUROLACKE always looking for sustainable solutions. Think Low Bake powder coatings (product is powder coated at low temperature resulting in energy savings) and POLAR (heat resistant coatings).
