Keller is the world's leading geotechnical contractor with a broad portfolio of advanced foundation and soil improvement techniques used throughout the construction industry.
Keller in brief:
Founded in 1860 in Germany by Johann Keller and active in the Dutch market since 1993. Now headquartered in London, the company has grown to become the world's largest geotechnical contracting company, with a global market share of approximately 10% and sales of nearly 4 billion euros. Keller operates on five continents. With the slogan: "Global strength and local focus," Keller works on geotechnical projects ranging in turnover from 25 thousand to more than 10 million euros. A quarter of Keller's turnover comes from energy and industry-related market.
In the Netherlands and Belgium, Keller is particularly active in soil improvement techniques, which are used in the industrial sector (e.g. tank foundations or foundation repair), industrial construction (e.g. warehouses, floor foundations), residential construction and the infrastructure sector (e.g. road foundations or cofferdams). Using our global engineering capacity, advanced calculation software and a wealth of national and international experience, no challenge is too great for Keller. Within Keller, execution experience, innovation and knowledge per technique is shared worldwide in product teams. By choosing soil improvement, the amount of cement (concrete) and steel (reinforcement) is significantly reduced. In the case of gravel columns, for example, no cement is used at all. As a result, the carbon footprint of the solution with soil improvement is significantly smaller than with traditional (pile) foundations combined with a cost-efficient design. This effect is greatest by sitting 'at the table' with our clients early on.
