Quick and intuitive drawing in 3d
Parabuild's context modeler makes drawing steel structure components or frame elements (such as beams, columns, beams, supports and purlins) easy and fast. Move the cursor and logical solutions are proposed in real time based on the cursor location, nearby profiles and other context. New elements are automatically linked to nearby profiles or frame lines.
Easily connect profiles
Parabuild has a library of hundreds of standard steel building connections. Draw connections by selecting the steel profiles and Parabuild suggests only the valid types in that situation. The connection is immediately drawn and any changes are immediately displayed on the 3D model.

Own defined connections
Each standard connection was created using functionalities available to all drafters, without programming a single line of code. This was done using simple geometric rules between profiles and parts in template drawings, which means you can create your own connections! These are then integrated with the existing connections for easy reuse in all your projects.
Geometric rules
Parabuild is the only steel structure drawing program that allows drawing structures completely defined by geometric rules. Connections and macros defined in template drawings can be reused in any project. This includes whole structures, trusses, wind bracing, cladding, stairs, ... This means that it is possible to customize Parabuild without hiring a programmer or writing complicated code.
Fully integrated into autocad & bricscad
Most draftsmen are already familiar with AutoCAD or BricsCAD, which reduces the investment in training. The steel building objects of Parabuild can be customized via the standard commands or by using the Object Property Manager. All Parabuild objects are integrated as if they were standard AutoCAD/BricsCAD objects.
Bots control
Parabuild will automatically detect collisions between parts and show them on screen. Key space for bolts and hole to edge / hole to hole distances are also checked. Thus, the steel construction on site will fit together properly.
