The BIBM Congress visits the Dutch capital of Amsterdam this year and takes place at the renowned 5-star hotel, Hotel Okura.

From Sept. 27 to 29, 2023, the congress will focus on "Green | Digital | Resilient | Precast Concrete Solutions."

Visitors can expect a comprehensive program, with lectures on each of the core themes of Green, Digital and Resilience in the precast concrete industry.

Speakers come from all over the world and bring very unique and different focuses on the benefits and opportunities of precast concrete.

The conference is accompanied by a fantastic social program:

  • On Thursday, September 28, we will organize a gala dinner for all visitors, speakers and exhibitors of the congress. The gala dinner will take place in the Rosarium Amstelpark, amidst a beautiful park with breathtaking flowers. Guests will experience a delicious menu in a romantic location.
     
  • Furthermore, we invite you and your partners to explore Amsterdam on one of our boat tours. The two-hour cruise is the perfect way to explore the city and its famous canals, while an English-speaking guide explains to you the history and background of the Netherlands and Amsterdam.
     
  • Our Diamond Tour will then take you to the site of Royal Coster Diamonds. Here you will have a tour of various rooms and your Champagne DIAMOND SURPRISE: Each guest will receive a glass of champagne. In each glass, the Royal Coster team has placed a real diamond or a cubic zirconia - an imitation diamond. Only one of the stones is a real diamond - will you be the lucky one?
     
  • Or would you like to soak up a piece of Japanese culture right at Hotel Okura? In our Origami Workshop you will learn how to transform a single sheet of square paper into a sculpture, using only folding techniques without cutting and gluing. All in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere with a cup of tea or coffee.
