Concrete Event 2022

For more than 60 years, the Concrete Association has organized the leading networking event of the concrete (construction) industry in the Netherlands! It is the place where professionals meet, visit companies and/or participate in the conference program: Concrete Event. This year the event is organized on Tuesday, June 14. The location chosen for this is the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam. This day is all about gaining knowledge, sharing knowledge and making knowledge. 

Panoramic Concrete

In 2020, the theme 'Panorama Concrete, The Deepening' took center stage at the completely online organized Concrete Event. With this choice, the organization was responding to the government theme 'Panorama Netherlands'. In it, the College of Government Advisors (CRa) encouraged looking at the layout of our country for the next 30 years up to 2050 with an overarching view.

At the Concrete Event, the theme 'Panorama Concrete, the Floor' building on the 2020 outcomes and focusing on 4 topical issues:

• Climate Adaptation
• Energy Transition
• Urbanization
• Circularity
