Program Day of the Constructor (June 1) announced

The program of the Day of the Constructor on June 1 is known. 'Working together on safe and sustainable constructions' is the theme. In three keynotes and a wide range of presentations during two breakout sessions this theme will be highlighted from all sides. Back in the program are the renewed cooperation with the Constructeursregister and the announcement of the Constructor of the Year.

Dirk Rinze Visser (Buro Happold) will discuss international cooperation in his keynote. Dorien Staal (Voorbij Beton) delivers the second keynote on the subject of new types of concrete and cooperation in the concrete industry. In the third keynote, Rijksbouwmeester Franceso Veenstra gives his vision of the construction and design task of the Netherlands and what it means in the coming years in terms of safety and sustainability.

During the day, the Structural Engineer of the Year will also be announced. An honorable recognition for structural engineers who are exceptionally dedicated to the structural engineering profession. Furthermore, the accredited registered structural engineers, designers and reviewers will be festively announced.

Especially for members of YouCon and students of the HTI, the Day of the Constructor will be preceded in the morning by a master class by Walter Spangenberg, winner of the Oeuvre Prize Constructor of the Year he received in 2022.
