DNV acquires Auvaro, information security assessment specialist

The acquisition strengthens DNV's information security management assessment, certification and training offerings in the Netherlands.

DNV, a global leader in management system certification, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Auvaro. An organization that primarily provides third party assurance statements and performs management system audits in the field of information security.

The services, competencies and market presence of DNV and Auvaro align well and provide a strong foundation to serve a growing market and be a trusted partner for small and large organizations.

With the acquisition of Auvaro, DNV expands its competencies and offerings to include third-party assessments, such as ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402 and SOC2, including DigiD and VIPP5 assessments. This is combined with certification against information security and privacy standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 and related training courses that are already part of the portfolio.
