Paris-based French engineering group Infraneo SAS has acquired engineering firm Nebest Adviesgroep B.V. Infraneo, a subsidiary of Groupe GSRI SAS, thus becomes 100% owner of the specialist in the field of research and consultancy on structures from Vianen.
As a specialist in asset management and the management and maintenance of both civil engineering structures and real estate, Nebest serves private, public and semi-public clients in the Netherlands. These include government agencies, construction companies, property managers, engineering firms and industry. With a strong focus on inspection, technical research, materials expertise and project management, Nebest is the total provider for the enormous renewal task the Netherlands is facing.
The acquisition by Infraneo facilitates Nebest's growth ambition and offers new opportunities for international cooperation and innovation. Infraneo has expertise in various disciplines, including civil inspection, steel inspection, structural engineering, geotechnical and laboratory testing. It serves both the public and private sectors and operates in Germany, Belgium and Spain in addition to France.
According to Jeroen de Goeij, general manager of Nebest, the acquisition fits seamlessly with the strategic ambitions of both organizations: "By combining our strengths and knowledge with Infraneo, we can serve our clients even better and further expand our expertise internationally. Together we are committed to innovation and quality, with a continued focus on sustainability. Nebest will continue to focus its services on the Netherlands."
The acquisition entails no direct changes for Nebest. The board and management team will remain in their current positions and retain their autonomy, while Nebest will continue to follow its strategy, mission and vision. The Nebest name will also remain unchanged, given the brand's strong position in the Dutch market. Moreover, the engineering firm remains focused on strengthening its unique culture and team spirit.
