The Concrete Agreement, a national chain agreement for sustainable growth in the concrete construction chain. A group of representatives from the cement and concrete industry and construction sector, together with clients, have spent the past 2½ years creating roadmaps. Everything is so prepared that the results can be implemented. The ambition is great. The routes drawn up show that it is possible to reduce 50 to 60% of CO2 compared to 1990 by 2030 and return 100% of all circularly demolished concrete (about 20% of the total aggregate required) to new products. But this will only succeed if the cement and concrete chain, the construction industry and clients start implementing the innovations at an accelerated pace.
Betonhuis is therefore going to share knowledge with you. In a series of eleven webinars, relevant roadmaps from the cement and concrete industry will be explored. What can concrete producing companies do themselves now? What does the path of CO2-neutral cement look like? What technical opportunities are within reach between now and five years? What matters to clients? What role do builders play?
