The durability of a concrete repair depends on several factors. In the first place, a in-depth preliminary investigation, then the proper recovery method with the suitable products and finally control during and after the works.

The substrate preparation is very important for quality concrete repair. In addition to the traditional technique Of removing deteriorated concrete by means of. a pneumatic hammer, more and more use is being made of hydrodemolition. Indeed, with this technique, unlike the traditional method, one avoids the formation of micro-cracks in the non-damaged concrete structure.
