Innovative high performance concrete screw

The German Würth Group is a world leader in assembly and fastening technologies for the construction and installation industry, among others. With 40,000 customers and 125,000 products, the Dutch branch of Würth Nederland B.V. contributes strongly to the Group's success and expansive growth. It recently launched a revolutionary concrete screw that not only matches but exceeds the reliability of the popular spreader and chemical anchors.

EasyCut, a new and unique screw geometry

The W-BS 2/A4 concrete screw features the innovative EasyCut thread. This makes screwing in faster, smoother and guarantees high tensile forces. Only a tangential impact wrench is required for screwing in. The flanks of the thread have extremely sharp and hard cutting teeth that smoothly cut the thread into the concrete. Thanks to the conical tip, the screw can be perfectly centered. Two cutting notches push the remaining drilling flour out of the drill hole during screwing in, eliminating the need for additional drill hole cleaning when using a drill with dust extraction.

Extremely convenient and flexible to use

The W-BS 2/A4 concrete screw combines ease of placement with high performance like no other. We consider medium to heavy loads. In accordance with ETA-22/0123, the anchors are usable at three approved anchoring depths for application at different clamping thicknesses. Also, the screw anchors are retrofittable up to two times, which facilitates, for example, the alignment of balustrades. In contrast to classic spread anchors, the Würth concrete screws can be easily removed. The small edge and shaft distances allow fixing close to the edge without breaking out of the concrete.

For every application

The durability of stainless steel screw anchors is significant. Thus, they can be used in a variety of environments and climatic conditions, both indoors and outdoors, damp or dry. Due to their design in stainless steel A4, they are perfectly moisture-resistant and do not corrode. The screws are frequently used for fastening steel structures, facades or balustrades to concrete walls. Each of these are heavy loads where compromises and half-hearted solutions are out of the question. The new Würth concrete screws are available with four different, practical and attractive head shapes for an attractive and optical finish.

Safety first

W-BS 2/A4 concrete screws are approved under ETA-22/0123, making them compliant as single fasteners in cracked and uncracked concrete. The approved tensile load for size 8 is up to 5.7 kN in cracked C20/25 concrete. In addition, the W-BS 2/A4 concrete screw is resistant to the effects of seismic loads and can be used in earthquake-prone areas falling under risk category C1. And with their fire resistance up to R120, they safeguard safety when exposed to fire.

In addition to the new concrete screws, the Würth delivery program also includes anchors, dowels, maintenance, adhesive and sealant products, hand tools, personal protective equipment, machining tools, workshop equipment, storage systems and furniture or construction hardware. Of the 125,000 products, 23,000 are available directly from stock in the Netherlands through the physical Würth shops in your area or in the web store. On a broader societal level, Würth cares about art. In nine countries, it has a total of 15 museums with outstanding art collections that are freely accessible to both individual visitors and groups.
