Enthusiast
The chairman of the organizing team, Maarten Vogelezang, is enthusiastic about the new main sponsor: "We are happy that Riwal wants to support us. It gives us more leeway and security in organizing the event, in which hundreds of people participate every year." The commitment is for three years. The organization can also continue to count on a dozen smaller sponsors.
Bonding Riwal with Dordrecht
Riwal Hoogwerkers is originally a Dordrecht family business that over the past 50 years has grown into an international player and expert in the field of specialized aerial work platform equipment. This includes aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklift trucks.
Johan van Klinken, Country Manager Riwal Benelux explains, "By sponsoring and naming this half marathon, Riwal wants to further strengthen the bond with Dordrecht and its citizens. In addition, this run is part of the Riwal Fit, Proud & Engaged program, with which we want to stimulate the sporting side of our employees, among other things."
