SGS Belgium and BouwQ launch cooperation on construction inspections for the Belgian market

Building inspection agency BouwQ and SGS Belgium have entered into a cooperation agreement for the Belgian market. 

SGS is a global leader in inspection, verification, analysis and certification. With years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, SGS provides inspection, risk and damage assessment and fire safety of buildings and infrastructure, among other services. 

BouwQ operates in the field of risk-based engineering controls and inspections in both civil works and non-residential and residential construction. BouwQ is recognized by insurers as an independent inspection agency in the context of insurance relating to risks in construction, including ten-year liability insurance. 

SGS Belgium and BouwQ have been working together in Belgium for some time and have now successfully completed several projects. By signing the agreement, the partnership between the two parties is now officially confirmed. 

The knowledge and expertise of both parties in their respective fields complement each other seamlessly, creating a strong combination of services. The cooperation guarantees the client a total package in terms of inspections, control and assurance of the quality and structural safety of construction projects and guarantees the issue of a certified quality declaration on the finished structure as a basis for the ten-year liability insurance (the decennial insurance)
