The official ticket sales for the BruggenFestival2025 has started! This unique event will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 between 07:00 and 21:00 in and around the Koninklijke Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. With a multifaceted program all round, the festival offers a day full of inspiration, knowledge and networking opportunities for everyone with a passion for bridge building, infrastructure and innovation.

A day full of inspiration, knowledge and innovation

The BridgesFestival2025 is the place to learn all about the latest trends in bridge building and infrastructure. With a varied program from morning to evening, the festival offers plenty of opportunities to gain knowledge and network with peers.

For whom.

The BridgesFestival2025 is the ideal meeting place for builders, policy makers, consultants, structural engineers, clients and contractors as well as students focusing on infrastructure and bridge building

Morning Program: Excursions and Master Classes (07:00 - 12:00)
The day begins with a choice of five exclusive field trip combinations to iconic bridges or participation in one of two interactive master classes.

Afternoon Program: Keynotes and Breakout Sessions (12:00 - 6:00 p.m.)
After the communal lunch, the afternoon program begins with inspiring keynotes:

• Harry Michels (Province of North Holland): Collaboration and smart renovation in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Jesper Henriksen (Dissing+Weitling): Design and impact of the international Storstrøm Bridge, a combined traffic and rail bridge in Denmark.

Breakout sessions in three themes, with four sessions per theme:
1. Bridges with a Great Intent.
2. Bridges in and for Society
3. Sustainability and Circularity

Evening Program: Inspiration and Networking (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.)

The day ends with a closing lecture by Tom Middendorp, former Commander of the Armed Forces, on the strategic value of bridges in a changing world. Following is an informal walking dinner, ideal for networking with fellow professionals.

• Corporate patron: €225,- excl. VAT (Only in combination with membership number of the Dutch Bridge Foundation)
• Interested: €350 excluding VAT
• Benefactor (teacher or retired): €75, - incl. VAT
• Student promotion: The organization is providing 100 free tickets for MBO, HBO and WO students.
