Vincent Kerkstoel elected president of the Concrete Industry Federation

He succeeds Stefan Van Buggenhout (CRH Structural Concrete nv), who ended his mandate after a period of 7 years. 

Vincent Kerkstoel (age 44) is co-owner of the company KERKSTOEL 2000+ nv. The company is located in Grobbendonk in the province of Antwerp and specializes in the production of prefabricated floor slabs, double walls, solid walls and sandwich panels. Vincent Kerkstoel studied law at the University of Antwerp and the Free University of Brussels and has been a member of FEBE's Board of Directors since 2006.

The Board of Directors also elected a new executive committee. In addition to Vincent Kersktoel, it consists of Sophie Bulcke (vice-president, Lithobeton nv), Stefan Van Buggenhout (vice-president, CRH Structural Concrete nv), Gert Van Cauwenbergh (Fingo nv), Luc Lemmens (Tubobel Group bvba) and Danny Roosens (Roosens Bétons sa).

The General Meeting welcomed two new managers: Sonja Kuypers (CEO of Ebema nv) and Alfons van Woensel (Managing Director of Marlux nv/Stradus nv).

The outgoing administrators, André Barendregt (former general manager of Marlux nv/Stradus nv) and Ludo Panis (administrator of Ebema nv) were thanked extensively for their contribution to the functioning of FEBE and the sector. Ludo Panis was no less than 32 years of continuous management of the Federation and also served as its president from 2007 to 2013.
