After all, the number of places with a carbon footprint is increasing rapidly. For these places, there is the new, recently developed battery concrete pump from RvR Concrete Pump Rental. Easily brought to location, where this electric pump runs without depending on a connection.
René van Rijs discovered the need for a small concrete pump about fifteen years ago. Back then, people used a wheelbarrow or a concrete pump that was unnecessarily large to pour concrete. On this he decided to import a small size concrete pump from Germany, where it could be found. The small pump was welcomed with open arms. Now - fifteen years later - RvR Concrete Pump Rental has another first: a battery-powered concrete pump developed in-house.
Sustainability is beginning to play an increasing role in the construction world, as the 2030 climate goals must be met. RvR is taking a big step forward in this context. The battery concrete pump is environmentally friendly, sustainable, quiet and emission-free, without compromising on power or capacity. In fact, the battery concrete pump can pump as much concrete as the regular diesel concrete pumps of RvR Concrete Pump Rental. The quiet and emission-free qualities of the pump make it ideal for areas with noise restrictions or emission-free zones.
In addition to developing the cordless concrete pump, RvR Concrete Pump Rental has greatly expanded its product range. It now offers a total package of concrete pumps and mixers in various sizes. Within the concrete pumps, it distinguishes the small, compact concrete pump, the medium concrete pump and the large concrete pumps, including the 35-meter pump and the 42-meter concrete pump, each complete with all accessories. "RvR thus offers a total package, from the mixer to the pump, which 100% suits the given situation," summarizes Rik Lambrichs, innovation manager at RvR. Work was also underway to expand across the country. With branches in Linschoten, Lunteren, Roelofarendsveen and Krimpen aan den IJssel, RvR is able to provide optimal service to its customers.
"Over the past period, we have put a lot of energy into developing the (trailer) battery-powered concrete pump," Lambrichs says. "This fulfills a great need. The constant search for new techniques and methods is characteristic of us. We like to think with the customer for a while about the right concrete composition and the most efficient way of pumping."
Meanwhile, the pumps of RvR Betonpomp Verhuur have found their way into high-profile projects such as the Amsterdam HAUT, a wooden residential tower with a concrete core that was poured at a height of 70 meters. Valley on Amsterdam's Zuidas is another of its showpieces. BAM placed the small pump on top of the enormous bridge pillars of the Botlek Bridge, and the small concrete pumps also performed magnificently in the parking garages of Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht.
