New software solutions for precast concrete

Seamless connection to existing 3D software

Automation in the precast flooring industry is moving fast. While architects and engineers of concrete structures are already working with 3D software, manufacturers are now looking for software to match. Matrix Software brings the solution to this. It is introducing two brand new, groundbreaking software solutions for the precast concrete industry.

The term "groundbreaking" is no exaggeration here, notes Jan Willem Fokkema, branch manager of Matrix Software. IC-Prefab for Revit

With IC-Prefab for Revit, draftsmen and production planners can draw production models directly from a BIM model. Once the design is engineered in 3D, it can then be used to control factories. "IC-Prefab was developed based on AutoCAD," says Fokkema. "To make the connection to BIM as perfect as possible, IC-Prefab has now been made suitable for Autodesk Revit."

The software is fast and easy to use.

MatrixLigger

MatrixLigger is the new generation of calculation software for strength calculations of precast floor systems. The software is based on the years of knowledge and experience present within MatrixFrame. As a result, the software is ideally suited to the specific needs of concrete fabricators in the manufacturing industry for traditional and prestressed wide slab floors, hollow core slabs and rib-cassette floors. "The software is incredibly fast and easy to link to software programs such as Revit, IC-Prefab, Excel or the in-house software. In doing so, the software is user-friendly. Those who have plugged in can start using it immediately."

Groundbreaking

A search quickly reveals that Matrix Software is not the only provider of this software. However, those who get to work with peer-to-peer software find that these programs are only suitable for simple systems. That makes Matrix Software's software solutions groundbreaking.
