Software provides all the necessary freedomsin the design of anchors

The anchor software is part of the Würth Technical Software. It is the portal for technical solutions. In addition to other application areas such as retrofitting rebar, you will also find other documents such as product information or CAD files. The software helps constructors and engineers with their calculations. There is no charge for using the software.

The new user platform ensures that you are taken through the calculation. Both information of possible anchor systems and the load of the chosen anchor are indicated. The software offers you all the freedom you need in the design of the anchor. The options are clearly displayed and supported with symbols.

Centrally in the middle, the calculated fastening situation is displayed. Here you can directly enter important dimensions such as shaft and edge distances, construction section thickness and dimensions of the anchor plate. You can also enter the occurring load in this view.

The program will always choose a safe and economical product based on your inputs. You have the option to choose from other anchor systems at any time. A filter function allows you to determine the anchor very precisely.

On the right side, the load of the selected anchor is continuously displayed. Depending on the degree of utilization, you can quickly retrace actions and further optimize the installation situation. For chemical anchors, the anchoring depth can be matched exactly to the application.

You can select C12/15 as an anchoring substrate in addition to the standard concrete strength class. In addition, you can use individual results of concrete strength tests as the basis of the calculation. By taking the existing straight or edge reinforcement into account, the result can be further determined. In addition to the substrate and reinforcement, you can enter the temperature range and installation situation. The systems suitable for these applications are indicated.

The geometry editor makes virtually any anchor plate shape and anchor position possible. By adding and shifting individual plate points, you can create any imaginable anchor plate shape. Single anchor or complex anchor groups can be positioned individually on the anchor plate. The design program automatically positions them so that the axle spacing is met.

In addition to single anchorages, a two- to nine-group standard can be entered. Circular variants with up to eight anchor points can also be calculated. In addition to how the profile is, the anchor group can also be positioned relative to the slab. If the building element is mounted remotely, you can choose from several options. With the geometry editor, you are also completely free in the choice of anchor.

You can almost endlessly enter the number of tax possibilities for the calculation. Finally, the normative load possibility is determined by the program. If the choice is fire or earthquake, then the corresponding load can be selected and additional data will be created. In addition to calculation loads, you can also enter characteristic loads, with an appropriate safety factor if required. The calculation software automatically creates the resulting load combination based on DIN EN 1990.

Single anchor, anchor system or anchor plate: everything can be calculated. You can directly have one of your chosen anchors (type, size) calculated. Alternatively, of course, all other anchors are also available. The anchor is clearly displayed in a table. Using the filter function, you can further refine your requirements.

For printing out your calculation, you can choose from several options. For example, you can choose between a compact or extended version. It is also possible to easily adjust the size to your liking. The expanded printout is detailed with the calculation steps and with reference to sources. In addition, the assembly instructions of the anchor are indicated. A workshop drawing and example for the construction site is made of the anchor. In addition to a printout, you can also save it directly as a PDF document.

You can get all approvals, product data sheets, trial notices and performance statements directly from the software. Regular updates keep the documents up-to-date.
