Tekla Structures 2024 available from now on

The new version of Tekla Structures is now available. The 2024 version makes it easier than ever to discover and apply time-saving features, for both existing and new users. A dedicated web page provides an overview of all highlights find. In recent months, Construsoft specialists have been setting up and testing the environment for their customers and documenting everything to make the transition as smooth as possible. As a new method for creating steel drawings the software company is hosting a webinar in April.

Updates to the interface and new features in Tekla Structures 2024 allow for quick execution of desired commands and smooth switching between model windows. In addition, snap functionality has been extended, allowing you to now snap in parallel. Two relatively small but very useful features in this version are the Copy to clipboard functionality, which lets you copy and paste properties of objects, and the ability to define and apply all colors in all types of drawings. Construsoft customers also save a lot of time with an IFC tool developed by the software company itself, which gives them various options for modifying IFC files. And to further improve compliance with the IFC standard, several settings have been added in Tekla Structures 2024 for stairs and ramps. This has greatly improved the exchange to IFC. 

Regarding drawings, Construsoft introduces the new standard for creating steel drawings in the 2024 version in the Steel Detailer role. With this, a Tekla modeler is much more flexible in creating production drawings, because he can define different views and set what needs to be dimensioned per view, for example. Drawings thus become much clearer and more readable for his colleagues in production. For wood and concrete builders, this feature was already available. Construsoft will explain the new method for creating steel drawings in a webinar on Tuesday, April 9. 

In recent months, Construsoft's specialists have been setting up the environment for their customers for the new release. All updates have been tested and the software adapted and everything is documented in the customer portal. Dutch and Belgian customers who want to get started with the new version right away can download it right there

On a special Web page, Construsoft has posted an overview of all the highlights. The trial version will be available from week 21. Then non-users can also get acquainted with Tekla Structures 2024. Construsoft is organizing the Construsoft Refresher days, which also focuses on the various updates and improvements in Tekla Structures.
