Dutch Fresh Port

For Aan de Stegge Twello, Eecular was allowed to apply their Staaltotaal concept for the R&M project at Nieuw-Reijerwaard. Over 1100 tons of steel construction, but also the laying of the hollow-core slabs was carried out by them.

R&M Forwarding was running into limitations at the existing location to conduct its business activities efficiently and according to current guidelines. With new construction at Dutch Fresh Port, food safe and logistically efficient operations are possible for R&M Forwarding and growth is no longer an obstacle. The building plan came about in a joint process with Necron and R&M Forwarding.

Aan de Stegge Twello realized this new building at Dutch Fresh Port on the Nieuw-Reijerwaard industrial estate. This location on the largest specialized agro/fresh/food cluster in the Netherlands, was a strategic choice because of its proximity to many clients and its excellent location: central in the Netherlands, close to the Port of Rotterdam and conveniently located to highway A15, A16 and A29.

On the plot of about three acres, Eecular realized the state-of-the-art commercial building of about 21,000 m2. The building consists of two floors and is no less than 300 meters long. The building has 35 docks and in addition 16,000 m2 of infra was realized around the building.
