Edwin Lokkerbol new president Association ION

During the General Assembly of Association ION, which took place on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Edwin Lokkerbol was elected as the new president. He succeeds former president Marijke de Vries. She served 9 years on the board, 6 years as board member and 3 years as president. We wish Edwin the best of luck!

Edwin Lokkerbol has worked extensively for and with industry associations, including the Dutch Association of Hydraulic Engineers, ANWB and KNVB. He was also closely involved in the set-up of Emission-free Network Infra (ENI). Currently, he is also chairman of the Vereniging Nederlands Kalkzandsteenplatform (VNK) and a board member of Stichting Milieu Relevante Product Informatie (MRPI). In daily life, Edwin Lokkerbol is the owner of Het Projectenbureau and from there he contributes to various projects and programs in which sustainability and innovation are central.
