At bauma 2019 (Munich, April 8 - 14), Hünnebeck will present a large number of new developments in the field of formwork, scaffolding and safety systems. In addition to the classic product range, digitalization plays an important role this year. Potential customers can learn about the company's digital products for safe and easy support of construction processes and take a look into the virtual world of formwork projects.
The motto by which Hünnebeck presents itself is "At Work For You." This promise not only reflects the high level of customer orientation of all BrandSafway Group companies. The new products presented by Hünnebeck together with parent company BrandSafway and sister companies also focus on user-friendliness and efficiency. The goal is to make work on the construction site easier, faster and safer.
New formwork and access solution for infrastructure construction
At the center of the 1,200-square-meter exhibition stand and the adjacent open-air area are formwork solutions for the construction of new infrastructure projects as well as access solutions for renovation. For example, new components have been added to the Hünnebeck Infra-Kit system for bridge construction. The modular structure of this system offers great flexibility and reduces assembly times. The offering also includes technical planning and related services in the areas of site logistics and prefabrication.
In addition, a new raised access solution will be presented featuring BrandSafway's patented QuikDeck system. The new system lends itself ideally to bridge renovation projects. Noteworthy about QuikDeck: by using the suspension platform instead of traditional scaffold material supports, assembly and handling times are significantly reduced. This in turn reduces costs and speeds up the progress of renovation work. With QuikDeck, maintenance work can be carried out on a robust work platform. At the same time, the work underneath can continue as usual. Due to the small number of dismountable parts, assembly and disassembly can be carried out quickly, even at great heights and in environments that are difficult to access.
Challenge: building on a postage stamp
Furthermore, at the Hünnebeck booth, high-rise construction will also take center stage. At bauma, the company is presenting and demonstrating virtual applications of climbing and safety technology. With these, complex construction projects can still be carried out safely in modest areas and at great heights. For example, work platforms can be completely covered with the Hünnebeck Safescreen. The self-climbing safety screen can be delivered pre-assembled, simplifying logistics, especially on inner-city construction sites. Workers on site are reliably protected not only from fall hazards but also from wind and weather. At the same time, it provides protection from falling parts and debris.
Increased safety and improved efficiency
The Hünnebeck booth also focuses on proven and tested products that have been further improved for increased productivity on construction sites. The new generation of Manto and Rasto wall formwork systems showcase a number of new features, such as single-sided centering, connecting elements integrated into the panel, combinable platform systems and a full plastic finish on the formwork panel. These make handling significantly easier and faster for the user. Nevertheless, the new generation remains combinable with the existing Manto and Rasto systems.
In the field of floor formwork, a new drop head solution, Topec DH, has been added to the modular Topec floor formwork program. Topec DH was specially developed for shuttering sloping floor sections. At bauma, the drop-head system will experience its European introduction. Furthermore, Hünnebeck is also showing a new version of its electronic floor formwork trolley.
In the area of scaffolding systems, Hünnebeck has developed, among other things, new stair systems for the Bosta and Modex ranges. These minimize the risk of falls and thus contribute to increased safety on construction sites.
Other products, the new Hünnebeck EPS fall protection system and BrandSafway's Power Climber hydraulic platform system for access at great heights, will also be on display at bauma.
"We have put together a complete package of new and optimized products that reflect the international diversity of our customers and group," said Martin Hemberger, managing director of the Hünnebeck Group. "With our maxim of always focusing on safety and productivity in product development, we are ready for the future. We look forward to exchanging views with existing and new customers under the motto 'Hünnebeck is at work for you!'"
