The VISiv track "Sustainable concrete repair" organizes the roadshow

The FISHiv-traject "Sustainable concrete repair," in full "New technologies, products and insights for sustainable repair of concrete structures," has been active since June 1, 2018. The aim of the project is to increase the professional knowledge and skills of Belgian companies (contractors and architects), active in the concrete repair sector, in order to obtain a sustainable and qualitative result.

The project is a collaboration between VCB (the Flemish Confederation of Construction), the WTCB (the Scientific and Technical Center for the Construction Industry), the NAV (Netwerk Architecten Vlaanderen), and FEREB (the Belgian branch of specialists in the repair, reinforcement and protection of concrete structures). Together, they know best the needs of the sector and Belgian companies. The project is supported by the Innovation and Enterprise Agency.

Within the framework of this project, several initiatives are taken and seminars, workshops and demonstrations are organized at which each time a specific repair technique is considered. Theoretical information (the principle, conditions of application, points of interest, possibilities and limitations) will be linked to a live demonstration of the technique, with specialized explanations.

In March 2019, the partner organizations will organize a roadshow taking place in Antwerp, East Flanders, West Flanders and Limburg. During the infosesies, experts from the world of concrete repair will highlight the different technical and practical aspects of sustainable concrete repair.

Soon you will find more information about the program, dates and locations of this roadshow on the website of FEREB vzw -. www.fereb.be
